i literally tumbled into this site — it’s homestead seattle’s gorgeous tumblr page. homestead seattle is a vintage homewares store run by Michele and Ryan Tansey, obviously in seattle, washington, and available to view by appointment. but if you’re not in the Seattle area, all of their goods are available for purchase directly from the homestead seattle website, as well. Or, you can order over the phone, if you feel like giving them a ring instead. they also buy your used furniture, and their wares are available to rent for photo shoot props and events.
i gather their inspiring tumblr page is a clever way to share what’s new in the shop, and as a bonus, the captions are quite witty as well. i’ll definitely be checking out this vintage shop next time i’m up north, and the meantime i’m following on tumblr. they’ve got a great collection, styled to perfection.
